Visit to the Tea Garden and Organic Farm

The CIE Food Safety and Environmental Health Team organized a field visit to “New Life Jabbok Tea Garden and Creation Organic Farm.” at Fanling on 13th April 2009 for students studying Food Safety concentration of CIE Associate Degree Programme.

How tea is made and planted? How organic farm is different from traditional farm? From this visit, students could expose to the organic farming of tea and different types of vegetables as well as fruits. Let’s find out the difference for the organic grown products!
