Hui Huen Hang awarded Best Assist Player in AXA League

Hui Huen Hang (Associate Degree Year 2 student, Sport and Recreation Studies) together with HKBU men’s basketball team won the Bronze award at the AXA League basketball competition finals earlier after competing in many regular seasons and playoffs. In addition, Hui Huen Hang received the title of best assist player for his outstanding performance. He shared that his performance counted on the rapport among team members.

A total of 11 teams from different tertiary institutions participated in the competition. Mr Warman Cheng, HKBU basketball team coach and Lecturer of the Department of Physical Education organised a five-day training camp during the summer on top of their regular practices twice a week, all of which helped motivate members’ morale and drive better performance. He was content with the team’s performance and hopes the team will continue to claim good results in upcoming competitions.
