CIE Students participate in an “M Mark” Event - New World Harbour Race 2014

Coordinated by the Tourism & Hospitality Management Club (THX), 12 students volunteered as event ambassadors at the New World Harbour Race (formerly known as Cross Harbour Race), held on 12 October 2014.

This year, about 2,000 swimmers of various age groups and from different countries participated in this spectacular event.

CIE student volunteers enjoyed taking part in this large scale event. They treasured this opportunity, and found the experiences of event management most valuable and fruitful.

Established in September 2013, the Tourism & Hospitality Management Club (THX) aimed at providing various outside the classroom learning opportunities, such as placement activities, field trips, company visits and career talks.
