On March 30, 2023, our school had the privilege of hosting an online guest talk with Dr. Adrian Tse, an oncologist and clinical assistant professor in the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). The topic of the talk was cancer treatment and research, which is a crucial area of medicine that affects many individuals and families worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the event, Dr. Tse shared his own experience in cancer clinical treatment and diagnostics. He particularly highlighted some of the latest findings and treatments in cancer patients, such as immunotherapy by activating T cells and white blood cells. This was an eye-opening session for the participants as it provided them with insights into the latest developments and advancements in the field of oncology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Tse also shared some successful case studies, which were very encouraging and inspiring for the students. Such practical examples of how cancer patients have been successfully treated help students to appreciate the value of research and the hard work that goes into finding better treatments for cancer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was attended by over 100 participants, who were all very active in asking questions and engaging with Dr. Tse. This was a great opportunity for the students to interact with a distinguished oncologist and learn from his expertise. It also provided a platform for them to explore and deepen their understanding of the topic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
