This summer, a group of 28 Geography and Resources Management (GRMG) students had an incredible opportunity to visit Danxiashan, a scenic mountain area recognised by UNESCO as a Global Geopark and World Heritage Site. Students had the opportunity to exchange views with the Deputy Director of Danxiashan's Administration Bureau on topics such as nature conservation, education, and sustainable tourism development, enabling them to learn more about the ecology and culture of global geoparks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u4eca\u5e74\u590f\u5929\uff0c28\u540d\u300c\u5730\u7406\u53ca\u8cc7\u6e90\u7ba1\u7406\u300d\u5c08\u4fee\u540c\u5b78\u5230\u4e39\u971e\u5c71\u8003\u5bdf\u3002\u4e39\u971e\u5c71\u662f\u88ab\u806f\u5408\u570b\u6559\u79d1\u6587\u7d44\u7e54\u8b7d\u70ba\u4e16\u754c\u5730\u8cea\u516c\u5712\u548c\u4e16\u754c\u6587\u5316\u907a\u7522\u7684\u58ef\u9e97\u4e4b\u5730\uff0c\u540c\u5b78\u5011\u66f4\u6709\u6a5f\u6703\u8207\u4e39\u971e\u5c71\u7ba1\u7406\u5c40\u526f\u5c40\u9577\u5c31\u81ea\u7136\u4fdd\u80b2\u3001\u6559\u80b2\u4ee5\u53ca\u53ef\u6301\u7e8c\u65c5\u904a\u767c\u5c55\u9032\u884c\u4ea4\u6d41\uff0c\u9032\u4e00\u6b65\u8a8d\u8b58\u4e16\u754c\u7d1a\u516c\u5712\u7684\u751f\u614b\u548c\u6587\u5316\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Danxiashan is located in Guangdong Province, China, and covers a vast area of 292 square kilometers. It is famous for its stunning Danxia landform, which was originated approximately 100 million years ago when sediment from the surrounding mountains was transported and deposited, ultimately transforming into sandstone and conglomerate. Students had the opportunity to explore various geological landscapes, including the meandering valley of Jinjiang, horizontal caves, towering stone peaks, stone walls and pillars. During the guided tour in the Danxiashan's Geological Museum and along the educational trails inside the geopark, students also learned about the park's flora, fauna, as well as the local history and culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u4e39\u971e\u5c71\u4f4d\u65bc\u4e2d\u570b\u5ee3\u6771\u7701\uff0c\u4f54\u5730\u5ee3\u95ca\uff0c\u7d04292\u5e73\u65b9\u516c\u91cc\u3002\u4e39\u971e\u5730\u8c8c\u5927\u7d04\u65bc\u4e00\u5104\u5e74\u524d\u5f62\u6210\uff0c\u7576\u6642\u56db\u5468\u5c71\u5340\u7684\u6c89\u7a4d\u7269\u88ab\u904b\u9001\u548c\u5806\u7a4d\uff0c\u6700\u7d42\u8f49\u5316\u70ba\u7802\u5ca9\u548c\u792b\u5ca9\uff0c\u666f\u89c0\u58ef\u89c0\uff0c\u4ee4\u4eba\u8b9a\u5606\u4e0d\u5df2\u3002\u540c\u5b78\u5011\u6b64\u884c\u63a2\u7d22\u4e86\u4e0d\u540c\u7684\u5730\u8cea\u666f\u89c0\uff0c\u5305\u62ec\u9326\u6c5f\u873f\u8712\u7684\u5c71\u8c37\u3001\u6c34\u5e73\u6d1e\u7a74\u3001\u9ad8\u8073\u7684\u77f3\u5cf0\u3001\u77f3\u7246\u548c\u67f1\u5b50\u3002\u5728\u53c3\u52a0\u4e39\u971e\u5c71\u5730\u8cea\u535a\u7269\u9928\u5c0e\u8cde\u548c\u5730\u8cea\u516c\u5712\u5167\u7684\u6559\u80b2\u6b65\u9053\u4e0a\uff0c\u540c\u5b78\u9084\u8a8d\u8b58\u5230\u516c\u5712\u7684\u690d\u7269\u3001\u52d5\u7269\u4ee5\u53ca\u7576\u5730\u7684\u6b77\u53f2\u548c\u6587\u5316\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students also had the opportunity to communicate with Ms. Chen Fang, Deputy Director of the Danxiashan National Nature Reserve Administration Bureau in Shaoguan, Guangdong. Director Chen shared valuable information about how the geopark was managed and preserved, and how they could improve the experiences for visitors. Students recognised the geopark's strengths in research, education, and tourism and shared ideas with Director Chen to enhance protection, promote geotourism, and raise awareness of Danxiashan's global significance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u5728\u8003\u5bdf\u671f\u9593\uff0c\u540c\u5b78\u6709\u6a5f\u6703\u8207\u4e39\u971e\u5c71\u570b\u5bb6\u7d1a\u81ea\u7136\u4fdd\u8b77\u5340\u7ba1\u7406\u5c40\u7684\u526f\u5c40\u9577\u9673\u6609\u4e3b\u4efb\u9032\u884c\u4ea4\u6d41\u3002\u9673\u5c40\u9577\u5206\u4eab\u4e86\u95dc\u65bc\u5730\u8cea\u516c\u5712\u7684\u7ba1\u7406\u548c\u4fdd\u8b77\u65b9\u9762\u7684\u7d93\u9a57\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u5982\u4f55\u70ba\u65c5\u5ba2\u63d0\u5347\u65c5\u904a\u9ad4\u9a57\u3002\u540c\u5b78\u8a8d\u8b58\u5230\u5730\u8cea\u516c\u5712\u65bc\u7814\u7a76\u3001\u6559\u80b2\u548c\u65c5\u904a\u65b9\u9762\u7684\u512a\u52e2\uff0c\u4e26\u8207\u9673\u5c40\u9577\u5206\u4eab\u5982\u4f55\u52a0\u5f37\u74b0\u5883\u4fdd\u8b77\u3001\u4fc3\u9032\u5730\u8cea\u65c5\u904a\u548c\u63d0\u9ad8\u4eba\u5011\u5c0d\u4e39\u971e\u5c71\u4f5c\u70ba\u5168\u7403\u91cd\u8981\u5730\u8cea\u907a\u7522\u7684\u8a8d\u8b58\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The study tour to Danxiashan was an unforgettable experience for the GRMG students. They were amazed by the geological wonders, they learned about the global geopark's ecology and culture, and had meaningful conversations with park management. This tour ignited their passion for protecting and showcasing natural and cultural heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u4e39\u971e\u5c71\u8003\u5bdf\u4e4b\u65c5\u5c0d\u300c\u5730\u7406\u53ca\u8cc7\u6e90\u7ba1\u7406\u300d\u5c08\u4fee\u540c\u5b78\u4f86\u8aaa\u5341\u5206\u96e3\u5fd8\uff0c\u4ed6\u5011\u80fd\u5be6\u5730\u6b23\u8cde\u5730\u8cea\u5947\u89c0\u3001\u8a8d\u8b58\u4e16\u754c\u5730\u8cea\u516c\u5712\u7684\u751f\u614b\u548c\u6587\u5316\u7684\u7279\u8cea\uff0c\u4e26\u8207\u516c\u5712\u7ba1\u7406\u5c64\u5c55\u958b\u6709\u610f\u7fa9\u7684\u4ea4\u6d41\u3002\u9019\u6b21\u8003\u5bdf\u4e5f\u6fc0\u767c\u4e86\u540c\u5b78\u5c0d\u4fdd\u8b77\u548c\u5c55\u793a\u81ea\u7136\u8207\u6587\u5316\u907a\u7522\u7684\u71b1\u60c5\u3002<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
