商學部B-DARE商業計劃大賽2026 展開序幕
返回The Division of Business has launched the B-DARE Business Simulation Competition 2026 in partnership with renowned hospitality leader Mira Dining, challenging students to tackle real-world industry scenarios.
At the launching event, Mr. Eric Lau, Division Leader of Business Division, warmly welcomed Mr. Grant Lee, Director of Food & Beverage at Mira Dining, with a souvenir presentation, marking the beginning of an exciting new partnership.
In the keynote speech, Mr. Lee offered students an inside look into Mira Dining, a group dedicated to creating memorable culinary experiences by masterfully blending heritage with innovation. Mr. Lee candidly addressed the critical challenges facing the hospitality sector, including talent shortages and evolving consumer demands. He emphasised that Mira Dining's core commitments to sustainability, quality, and social responsibility are key to navigating the future and finding success.
The insights resonated strongly with the audience. “The speech offers a comprehensive overview of Mira Dining's business strategy and values,” said Zhang Xingyin, Brelie, Associate Degree Student from Financial Management. “The speaker effectively demonstrates the company's passionate commitment to blending heritage with innovation, sustainability, and social responsibility to create unique dining experiences.”
Students will form teams to develop creative and robust business strategies for Mira Dining. They must leverage course-based theories to solve real challenges and chart new directions for the restaurant group. The competition will culminate in a final presentation in March 2026, where teams will present their ideas to a judging panel.
Now in its 16th year, the B-DARE Business Simulation Competition is a signature event for the Business Division, celebrated its success in bridging academic knowledge with practical application. Past sponsors have included renowned brands including Lush, Subway, and Dosha Woodcraft etc.
