Quality assurance is an integral part of the CIE in all areas of teaching and learning. It is a collective and continuous process to ensure that academic and professional standards are met in its programmes for the benefit of all stakeholders including students, parents, teachers, as well as employers in the community.
Since its inception in 2000, the College of International Education had gone through a series of rigorous quality assurance review exercises including the 2002 Teaching & Learning Quality Process Review (TLQPR), the 2006 and 2012 Academic Consultation Panel Visits as well as the 2008 Joint Quality Review Committee (JQRC) Institutional Review. The JQRC is an independent quality assurance body established by the Heads of Universities Committee (HUCOM) and constituted by the eight publicly-funded universities.
