HKTDC Entrepreneur Day Fair provides a platform for market intelligence, entrepreneurial insights as well as an array of business start-up opportunities and support services to young entrepreneurs. 20 students from CIE Business Studies Society participated in a service learning activity named “Learning with Innovative Entrepreneurs” this year.

“Learning with Innovative Entrepreneurs” consisted of three sessions. Firstly, students assisted to promote the HKTDC Entrepreneur Day. Later, they assisted the Presidents of Innovative Entrepreneurs Association during the sharing sessions in May. After that, students joined a mentorship scheme named “Cross Matching for New Business Opportunities” as mentees from May to August. The scheme was jointly sponsored by the “Create Hong Kong”, the office of the HKSAR Government and Innovative Entrepreneur Association.

All these activities enabled our student-leaders to establish networks and learn from the successful experience of entrepreneurs. The experience will be one of the most important assets to start up their own companies in future.
