Applicant who has obtained a conditional offer and attained Level 2 or above in the below five subjects in HKDSE can claim the Admission offer on the College’s designated webpage.

^ If one of the subjects is Citizenship and Social Development (CSD), the minimum admission requirement for CSD would be "Attained".

* Applied Learning subjects can be used for admission purposes:
1.   "Attained" is deemed to have achieved "Level 2";
2.   "Attained with Distinction (I)" is deemed to have achieved "Level 3”; and
3.   "Attained with Distinction (II)" is deemed to have achieved "Level 4".

For Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) Students

# For non-Chinese speaking (NCS) HKDSE candidates, the following alternative Chinese Language qualifications are also recognised by the College of International Education:

  • “Attained” in Applied Learning Chinese (ApL(C)) who fulfilling one of the specified conditions in “Note 1” below, or
  • Grade E or above in GCE A/AS Level Chinese; or
  • Grade C or above in GCSE/IGCSE/GCE O-Level Chinese.

Note 1: The specified conditions are:
(a) Candidates who have studied Chinese Language for less than six years during their primary and secondary education; or
(b) Candidates who have studied Chinese Language for six years or more in school, but followed an adapted and simplified curriculum that is not normally applicable to the majority of students in local schools.

Non-Chinese speaking HKDSE candidates should upload their official GCE, GCSE, IGCSE or GCE O-Level Chinese results slip or certificate via MyCIE Application.

For applicants who are 2026 HKDSE candidates and submitted applications for AD/HD programme on or after 9:00am on 13 July:

If your results meet the entrance requirements, please upload your HKDSE Results Notice via MyCIE Application on or after 15 July 2026, and inform the College by sending an email to applycie@hkbu.edu.hk with your application number. Your application will be considered if places are available.

Admission is subject to the availability of places. Due to limited quotas, admission offers will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis.

Admission notices are sent via email. Applicants should check their email inbox regularly and follow the instructions provided to settle the required fees and submit relevant documents on time. All enrollment procedures must be completed by the specified deadline; otherwise, the admission offer will be considered forfeited.
