Mind Brew, the Student Society of Bilingual Language and Literature Studies and Professional Communication and English Studies, held a Halloween Party for CIE students on Oct 31, 2019.
Our Mind Brew members transformed the popular Killer Mystery game into English, and led players to find out the mastermind behind all secret murders during the night. This game aims to enhance student’s English speaking fluency, and provide students a good chance to relieve their pressure at the busy midterm.
From the scarily pretty Chinese zombie to blood shedding walking dead, participants dressed up in front of the spooky backdrop to compete for the scariest king and queen awards. In a casual and relaxed atmosphere where light refreshments were served, participants had a fun evening chitchatting and socializing with students coming from different years and concentrations.

When the darkness loomed, the mystery killing begun.
