On 21 May 2013, over 100 Associate Degree students attended a talk entitled “How Private Fund Works?” organized by the CIE Investment Club. CIE was very honoured to have invited Mr Bernard Wu, Managing Director of ABCI Investment Limited and former Chairman of ACCA Hong Kong to speak on the topic.

Participants enjoyed the talk and raised many questions about fund operation and the current investment environment of Hong Kong. Students were particularly interested to know how to join the investment banks and have learnt a lot from Mr Wu’s valuable experience in the field.

The CIE Investment Club was established in September 2012 and has a total of 200 members with the Business lecturer Mr. William Lai, CFA, CFPCM, FRM, M.A. serving the Club as lecturer advisor.
