Organised by CIE Marketing Society, a group of 40 students visited Cathay City on 12 February.
Students had a chance to attend a briefing to learn about the brand and organisation structure of the Swire Hotels and Cathay Pacific. Mr. Eric Leung, Human Resources Manager of Headland Hotel greeted the students and shared with them the job requirements and duties of flight attendants. Students were given the chance to see how training of flight attendants was conducted.
The most valuable experience for students was their trial at the flight simulator. Students were much impressed by the facilities and training provided for pilots. “This authentic experience allows me to learn how business concept can be applied in a real life setting” Chan Tsz Ching, Crystal, Head (Internal Affairs) of Marketing Society shared.
