國際學院投資學會舉辦「投資計畫比賽2015」

The final round of Investment Plan (I-Plan) Competition 2015 organised by CIE Investment Club was successfully held on 20 March.  A team of 6 Associate Degree students from Financial Management and Business Administration Concentration Studies won the championship of investment proposal of Tencent (0700).

This year, the competition attracted over 180 participants from various Concentration Studies. Students need to join the investment training, pass a quiz, be the top 20 of the Investment Simulation Game and write a professional investment proposal to enter the Final. Three strongest teams were selected to present their investment analysis to a judging panel.

CIE Investment Club was much honoured to have invited Mr. Michael Hung, Chief Marketing Officer of I-Access Group, Mr. Neo Mong, Section Head of Clientele and Asset Management Department, and Dr. Gordon Wong, Division Leader, Business Division of the College of International Education, HKBU to be the adjudicators. 

The adjudicators were impressed by the overall performance of the finalists, especially their details in fundamental analysis which included an in-depth analysis in government policies.

Established in September 2012, the CIE Investment Club aims to promote and enhance the knowledge and planning of investment among CIE students and this is the second year the Club have organised the Competition.
