社會與健康研究
「社會與健康研究」與一般健康學課程有什麼分別?
- 一般健康學課程較著重科學研究及教授護理知識，而「社會與健康研究」課程設計獨特、全面，跨學科教授運動及康樂學、心理學、營養科學、神經科學、社會學、輔導學、哲學等多個範疇的知識；
- 完成課程後，同學將掌握到全人健康的概念和相關知識，以及基本健康輔導技巧，並有能力將專業知識從個人健康領域，廣泛實踐至社會層面。
此課程適合什麼人報讀? 是否要讀過理科相關課程才可報讀?
- 課程歡迎所有對運動及康樂學、心理學、社會學等學科，以及對健康與社會之關係有興趣的同學報讀；
- 課程結構以基礎學術理論為起點，及後同學可按個人興趣及專長，選擇合適範疇作進階研修。即使沒有修讀過任何理科相關學科之同學，亦可報讀此課程。
完成課程後，有什麼升學機會?
- 課程涵蓋多個社會科學及健康研究範疇，所以升學出路極廣。畢業生可選擇在本地或海外大學完成健康教育、運動及康樂學、心理學、社會學等相關社會科學學士學位課程；
- 畢業生可經非聯招途徑，選擇升讀教資會資助高年級（三年級）學士學位，包括：浸大（社會學）、中大（社區健康；心理學）、港大（心理學；社會學）、城大（犯罪學及社會學；心理學）、理大（應用老年學及服務管理) 、教大（心理學）、嶺大（健康及社會服務管理）等；
- 畢業生亦可申請入讀浸會大學運動及康樂領袖學、心理學、社會政策等自資學士學位課程；
- 同學可透過浸大「4年自資學位課程優先入學計劃」，以「2+2」升學途徑無縫銜接浸大「心理學社會科學學士（榮譽）」學位課程。
除從事健康服務相關工作外，還有什麼出路?
- 社會對兼具社會運作及健康教育兩方面知識的專業人才，需求日趨殷切；
- 畢業生事業發展機會甚廣，可選擇從事健康教育、社會服務、社會企業、運動及康樂管理等行業，包括社福機構行政人員、社福機構項目主任、社區中心康體活動統籌主任、公共事務機構康體活動統籌主任、教學助理、醫管局行政助理，及政府二級聯絡主任等。
