浸大國際學院藝術科技設計高級文憑課程(HDATD)舉辦「構建機械人團隊:科技創新中的協作」專題講座,有幸邀請到香港機械人學院總監邱嘉俊先生擔任主講嘉賓。講座以機械人的製作過程為切入點,深入探討團隊在科技創新項目中面臨的挑戰與解決方案。 

講座中,邱先生透過實例分享,闡述團隊如何訂立清晰目標、建立有效溝通方式,以及了解隊友特質對項目成功有著關鍵影響,並介紹了團隊角色的分工與對照,引導同學思考在團隊中最適合自己的崗位。他認爲團隊領導力在跨學科團隊中尤其重要,能夠整合硬件工程、軟件開發、設計及市場銷售等不同專業領域,推動項目邁向成功。他亦分享了項目管理方面的理論,例如MVP (Minimum Viable Product) 思維及Scrum方法,強調快速原型製作和疊代開發在團隊溝通與協作中的重要性。

跨學科視角是本次講座另一重點。邱先生指出,未來的成功團隊需要具備複合型人才,能夠從多方面考慮問題,從而提升整體效率。他特別提到,除了人與人之間的合作,人與人工智能的協作將成為未來的大趨勢。隨後介紹多種AI工具及其在團隊中的應用,包括「Vibe coding」這一類新興的編程方式,以及AI代理如何與機械人協作,成為團隊中的「新同事」。 

舉辦是次講座旨在加強學生對科技創新與團隊協作的理解,培養具備跨學科視野的複合型人才,以應對未來職場的挑戰。 

The Higher Diploma in Art Tech Design (HDATD) at the College of International Education, Hong Kong Baptist University hosted a seminar titled "Building Teams That Build Robots: The Collaboration of Technological Innovation," featuring Mr. Jacky Yau, Director of the Robot Institute of Hong Kong, as the keynote speaker. The seminar used the robot manufacturing process as a starting point to explore the challenges and solutions faced by teams in technological innovation projects. 

During the seminar, Mr. Yau shared case studies illustrating how teams can set clear goals, establish effective communication methods, and understand the key impact of teammate qualities on project success. He outlined and compared key team roles to help students identify where they fit best, and emphasized the importance of leadership in interdisciplinary teams that integrate hardware engineering, software development, design, and marketing. He also introduced project management theories, such as the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) mindset and the Scrum methodology, highlighting the importance of rapid prototyping and iterative development in team communication and collaboration. 

An interdisciplinary perspective was another core theme. Mr. Yau pointed out that future-ready teams need multi-skilled members who can approach problems from multiple angles to enhance overall efficiency. He specifically mentioned that in addition to human-to-human collaboration, human-AI collaboration will become a major trend in the future. He then introduced various AI tools and their applications in teamwork such as "Vibe coding," and how AI agents can work alongside robots as “new colleagues.” 

The seminar aimed to deepen students' understanding of technological innovation and teamwork, cultivating well-rounded talents with interdisciplinary perspectives to meet the challenges of the future workplace.
