Students in the second cohort of the Higher Diploma in Art Tech Design programme have completed a four-day, three-night "ART TECH Voyage" course in Korea. The course enabled them to step beyond Hong Kong to explore Korea’s latest developments in art and technology, broadening their horizons and enriching their experiences.
The four-day itinerary featured a robust schedule of site visits and academic exchange. In addition to renowned sites such as HiKR Ground, Hyundai Motors Studio Goyang, National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Gwacheon National Science Museum, e-sports Hall of Fame and the Korea Manhwa Museum, students also engaged in exchanges with students at Yonsei University.
This immersive journey not only deepened their understanding of art and technology but also fostered cross-cultural learning and creative inspiration.
同學在 HiKR 韓流展示館 中，除了在XR 攝影棚體驗區拍攝KPOP MV，也體驗充滿韓國特色文化的互動設施。 Students not only filmed K-pop–style music videos in the XR photography studio but also engaged with interactive installations at HiKR Ground that showcased distinctive elements of Korean culture. 在高陽現代汽車工作室，同學了解汽車文化、藝術及科技的融合和發展。Visiting the Hyundai Motors Studio Goyang, students gained insights into the fusion and development of automotive culture, art, and technology.同學在國立現代美術館欣賞韓國現當代的著名畫作。The visit to the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art allowed students to study influential artworks firsthand, deepening their understanding of artistic evolution.國立果川科學館裡的科學文化體驗設施，讓同學了解從基礎科學到尖端技術的多種科學技術。At the Gwacheon National Science Museum, students learnt about various scientific technologies, from basic science to cutting-edge technology.在 e-sports 電競榮譽殿堂中，同學親身嘗試電競項目，認識電競的世界。During the visit to the e-sports Hall of Fame, students participated in hands-on gameplay and explored the world of e-sports.
課程亦安排韓國傳統文化的體驗活動，同學試穿韓服外，更親手製作紫菜飯卷。The course also covered immersive experiences in traditional Korean culture, including hanbok (traditional Korean attire) fittings and a hands-on kimbap-making workshop (seaweed rice rolls).
四日三夜的首爾學習之旅完滿結束。The four-day, three-night Seoul study tour concluded as a resounding success.
