A field visit to Gingko House was arranged for students who are taking the course of “Business Ethics and Social Responsibilities (BESR)” in this semester. Gingko House is a social enterprise which advocates the employment of senior citizens with a view to promote life enrichment through employability.

“Students are going to arrange market research and prepare marketing plans for Gingko House in order to facilitate the company’s future development and expansion,” Dr. Angel Lai, lecturer of BESR said.

“The visit was a fruitful learning experience. I learned more about the operation of social enterprise and felt impressed by how the elder employees had benefited from the employment.” Chui Yi Sum, Kate (Marketing, Year 1) shared.
