CIE Cross-cultural Exchange Programme: Expanding Global Understanding
BackThe College of International Education (CIE) joined hands with ELCHK Lutheran Secondary School to organise a cultural exchange activity for a group of students from Kimpinen Upper Secondary School in Finland on HKBU Shek Mun Campus.
The International Ambassadors of CIE welcomed the Finnish students with a few icebreaking games to encourage all participants to get to know their peers. To provide them with a taste of traditional local games, a mini Chinese slang learning workshop was also conducted to allow them to learn Hong Kong culture through local tongue.
As an exciting finale to the exchange session, Finnish students performed Finland’s national anthem, “Maamme”, for their new friends. After visiting CIE’s Media Communication Lab and Library, the gourp set off for an art exhibition on HKBU Kowloon Tong Campus.
