Over 20 CIE students joined the Tithe Ethical Consumption Movement (TECM) 2018 organised by Fullness Social Enterprises Society (FSES) and sponsored by Home Affairs Bureau. The Movement includes a series of events and campaigns to enhance the awareness and support towards the sustainability of social entrepreneurship in Hong Kong. This year students were arranged to serve as receptionists, event and hospitality helpers in the Opening Ceremony.

Dr. Erica Lee, Lecturer in-charge of the event shared that TECM committee members expressed much appreciation towards the passion and enthusiasm of CIE Students in community service, as well their effort in making the event a success.

Leung Chug Man, Tom (Marketing, Year 1) shared that this was not only a volunteering experience, but also an opportunity for him to understand the management and business strategies of social enterprises.

Ying Jiang Yue, Selina (Creative Communication, Year 2) and Lin Zhi Huai, Randy (Media Communication, Year 2) found the event meaningful as they could learn how to run an activity and at the same time develop a sense of responsibility.
