Division of Business kicks off B-DARE Business Simulation Competition 2025
BackThe B-DARE Business Simulation Competition 2025 organised by the Division of Business, kicked off in October with LUSH as the sponsor partner.
At the kick-off seminar, Dr. Connie Li, Division Leader of Business Division, gave a welcoming speech and thanked LUSH for giving the students such a valuable learning opportunity. It was followed by the sharing of Ms. Miranda Cheung, Managing Director of LUSH Greater China, who shared with students the mission of LUSH and the naked products offer – package free products. The company emphasises fresh cosmetics, ethical buying, fighting animal testing, 100% vegetarian, and handmade with love. For example, their naked shampoo bar has saved over 170 million bottles since 2005 and has enjoyed a very good response in China. Lush also emphasises ethical buying and that ingredients must not be tested on animals.
Wong Wai Sam, Business Administration student expressed that, “The seminar offers a comprehensive overview of LUSH Cosmetics' business model and values. Through compelling video content, the company demonstrates their passionate commitment to sustainability.”
Students were impressed by the preparation and sharing of Ms. Miranda Cheung and Ms. Lena Lu, Digital Marketing Manager of LUSH and appreciated receiving LUSH products as souvenirs.
B-DARE Business Simulation Competition is a signature event of the Business Division which aims to provide students with a chance to apply their learned theories to real-life scenarios. The competition is being held for the 15th years with renowned sponsor partners including Subway, Dosha Woodcraft, Hong Yip Service Company Limited and etc.
