CIE Investment Club organizes IFPHK Introductory Session and i-plan Stage I Training Session

The CIE Investment Club organized two activities in late September which were well participated by over 200 students. The College took pleasure in having Mr. Chris Tse, Chairman of the Institute of Financial Planners of Hong Kong (IFPHK) to give an introductory talk on Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and shared the importance of this professional qualification.

Following the Introductory Session was a 3-hour i-plan Stage I training session, conducted by Mr. William Lai, Course Coordinator of Financial Management at CIE. The purpose of the training session was to equip participants with investment knowledge and the understanding of risks and returns relationship. Students expressed appreciation in getting an early exposure to CFP and an introductory understanding of risks and returns in investment. The i-plan activities are partially sponsored by the i-access Group.
