CIE Students visit the Guangzhou International Convention & Exhibition Centre (Pazhou Complex)

To enrich students’ exposure to operations in event exhibition industry, the Tourism and Hospitality Management Concentration Studies organized a visit to Guangzhou International Convention & Exhibition Centre (Pazhou Complex), currently the largest exhibition centre in Asia on 1 November 2014.

 

During the visit, students had a tour of Canton Fair Museum, Trade Hall and Exhibition Halls and learnt their operations.

 

All students found the visit inspiring as they have gained a deeper understanding about the operations in event exhibition industry. Students also found themselves having new insights on the culture and history of Guangdong by visiting a number of spots nearby, including Guangdong Provincial Museum, Guangzhou Tower, and Guangzhou Opera House.

 

CIE is striving for excellence in providing a stimulating learning environment which fosters students’ whole person development. Different experiential learning opportunities are available during the semester, encouraging students to learn outside the classroom and gain more exposure to the real world.
