CIE Alumni receive awards in HKBU Visual Arts graduation exhibition

The graduation exhibition of undergraduate students of the HKBU Academy of Visual Arts, displaying the work of 107 graduating students, was held on Kai Tak Campus from 30th May to 21st June, and was completed with great success. Among the graduates, ten were CIE alumni from Associate Degree of Arts in Visual Art.

The exhibition evolved around the theme “tools”, aiming to showcase the students’ creative process. The graduating students consider “tools” to be essential elements of the art-making process. It serves as inspiration and helps artists present their work. Tools also enable an artist to communicate with the audience. More than ten awards were presented during the opening ceremony of the exhibition.  Two CIE alumni NG Kai Yan, Kaya and SZETO Chun Hei were among the award winners.
