With the new academic year coming up, the College of International Education (CIE) organized a 5-day orientation event on 19 Aug – 23 Aug under the themes of “A Colourful College Life ” and “College Success Unlimited”, to welcome over a thousand new students of Associate Degree Programme to the CIE family.


Speaking at the New Student Orientation Week, Dr. Sam Lau, Director of CIE, encouraged students to treasure every opportunity to learn outside the classroom by active participation in different kinds of student activities. He also advised new students to face challenges with courage and take the initiative to seek help when they encounter any difficulties.


The Orientation Week was organized by the Student Development Section with the support from lecturers, administrative staff, and CIE Student Ambassadors. Alumni were also invited to join and share their learning experiences and tips on how to realize their dreams at CIE.
