HKBU athletes triumph in cross country competition with Man Siu-kit, alumnus of CIE clinches gold medal at inter-university competition

HKBU athletes shined again at an inter-university competition. This time, the men’s and women’s cross country teams won a number of medals at the recent 27th University Sports Federation of Hong Kong (USFHK) Cross Country Race. They scooped the First Runner-up in the Men’s and Women’s Overall Championship, the Men’s Overall Championship as well as the First Runner-up in the Women’s Overall Championship.


In addition, Man Siu-kit, alumnus of CIE (currently studying HKBU Physical Education and Recreation Management, Year 3) captured a gold medal in the Men’s Individual contest. Organised by USFHK, this year the competition attracted 176 athletes from nine tertiary institutions.
