国际学院校友及同学于2019「第四届联大投资比赛」屡创佳绩
返回CIE alumnus and student shine in the 4th Joint University Investment Game (JUIG) orangised by i-Access Group earlier. Chan King Wa Kingson, alumnus of Associate Degree (Financial Management) who is now a finance undergraduate student of HKBU won the Championship, while Siu Tat Ming John, Associate Degree (Financial Technology) student was awarded the 2nd Runner-up of the competition.
The competition attracted the participation of 1,547 students from thirteen tertiary institutions from Hong Kong and China, with 248 of them joining the game through CIE Investment Club. The winners had to be the top ten best performers in various investment products including stocks, warrants, callable bull/bear contracts, exchange-traded funds, index futures, stock futures and index options. Participants should excel their investment skills not only in single product during the simulation game.
To equip students with up-to-date investment skill and knowledge from the financial market for JUIG, Mr. William Lai, Course Coordinator of Financial Management Concentration Studies hosted an Investment Skill and Knowledge Seminar before the competition. The champion Kingston Chan shared his excitement of receiving the award and expressed his gratitude for the professional knowledge learned from the two-year study at CIE which he regarded as very enlightening.
Organised by i-Access Group and sponsored by The Hong Kong Exchange, Samsung Asset Management, BNP Paribas, Et Net Limited and Hong Kong Economic Times, the competition aimed to enrich participating students with investment knowledge and technique through simulation platform.
