To provide students with an opportunity to apply marketing theories learned from class in real commercial field, CIE is organizing the second Marketers Competition in March 2015. This year, CIE is delighted to have Kampery Group, parent company of Green Dot Dot（點點綠）to be the partnering company. The newly founded CIE Marketing Society (Ma So) has also taken part to support the Competition.
To kick off the Competition, Ms. Phyllis Cheuk, Executive Director & CEO of Kampery Group, was invited to speak at the Kick-off Seminar held on 9 Oct, to introduce the background of company and explain the requirements of the conceptual plans that need to be submitted for the Competition, so that students could get a better idea on how to suggest marketing strategies for the business of the assigned brand – Green Dot Dot.
The seminar was well attended by over 150 students and they found the interaction with Ms. Phyllis Cheuk valuable. “We couldn't expect a better start for the CIE Marketers Competition, the event was a massive hit with excellent turnout.” said JAIN Trikaansh Manoj, Chairperson of Ma So.
Around 10 teams will be selected into the second round of the Competition from 46 enrolled teams and each team is required to submit a concrete marketing plan on how to develop the e-commerce business as well as to strengthen the positive brand image of Green Dot Dot as the final goal.
