Academic, Administrative, and Committee Structures
The College of International Education (CIE) is committed to excellence in all aspects of teaching and academic support. Under the leadership of the Director of CIE, the College has a committed team of teaching and administrative staff who provide quality teaching and learning.
CIE has developed a well-established academic, administrative, and committee structures based on the principles of accountability, effective management of resources, and clear lines of communication and supervision across different management levels, campuses, and academic divisions.
CIE places a strong emphasis on providing students with the best learning experience. Various academic divisions, administrative teams, and working committees are set up to fulfill specific responsibilities.

CIE Advisory Committee
The CIE Advisory Committee advises the College on the overall programme operation and management. It also assists the College in planning and reviewing the academic programmes in relation to the needs of the community and future development, in addition to acting as an interface between the College and the industry / business / education / government sectors and the community at large.

Executive Committee
The Executive Committee sets the direction for the strategic development of the College.

Programme Boards
The Programme Boards oversee major academic affairs at the operational level, including curriculum development and revision, as well as improvements to the CIE teaching programme. In addition, the Boards facilitate the running and implementation of the programme, monitor the quality of the programmes, and assess the extent to which the course objectives are being met.

Programme Management Committees
The Programme Management Committees aim to co-ordinate the day-to-day operations of the programme, ensuring their smooth running, as well as providing administrative support to the programme.

Specific Working Groups or Task Forces
Specific working groups or special taskforces are to be formed as needed to execute task-specific duties, whilst consultation meetings, briefing sessions, sharing sessions and staff professional development days are organised to brainstorm, inform and collect views amongst those concerned.
